Unity Awards Finalists Announced

Pid, Year Walk and The Drowning lead the charge for Sweden as the finalists for the Unity 2013 Awards were announced today.
Might and Delight’s puzzle platformer, Pid is nominated in three categories including: Golden Cube, Best 3D Visual Experience and Best Gameplay.

Simogo’s Year Walk is also nominated for three awards including the Community Choice award whilst The Drowning is in the running for two awards.

The Unity Awards celebrate the talent and creativity from the Unity community, comprised of more than two million developers. Categories for this year’s awards include Best Student Project, Best 3D Visual Experience, Best 2D Visual Experience, Best Gameplay, Best Non-game Project, Best VizSim Project, Technical Achievement, Community Choice, and the Golden Cube for best overall project. Finalists were selected from a pool of nearly 375 submissions and winners will be chosen by Unity Technologies employees aside from Community Choice, which will be voted on by the Unity community of developers. The Unity Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, August 29 during the Unite 2013 conference.
