Oskar Burman joins museum board

Head honcho of Rovio’s Stockholm studio, Oskar Burman has been inducted onto the board of Tekniska Museet (The National Museum of Science and Technology).

Speaking at the announcement, Museum director, Ann Follin said:

The appointment of Oskar Burman could not be more timely. Next week, we open the doors to the world’s largest video game show, and with it marks the start of a multi-year initiative to collect, document and showcase videogame history.

The National Museum of Science and Technology was founded in 1923 and offers users the chance to experience exhibitions on space, inventions, the world we live in and in recent years video games.

Commencing on October 25, Game On 2.0 the largest gaming exhibition ever held in Sweden will be at The National Museum of Science and Technology.
